Emma Jane: "Why does Logan have short-sleeve pajamas and I have long-sleeve pajamas?"
Me: "I think you ask a thousand questions everyday."
Emma Jane: "Why?"
My case in point. So often my day feels like a constant barrage of questions from inquisitive preschoolers. It seems that I can hardly complete a thought before it is interrupted by an inquiring mind. Still, it is so precious to have such conversations throughout the day. And the amazing thing is that in their minds, I actually know all the answers! Someday they'll realize that mom's knowledge is quite limited. And when they're teenagers they'll think they know more than me! So I think I'll just settle in and enjoy their sweet questions. And pray for patience and a soft answer the next time Logan asks why dogs can't go to church.
